Not more snow!!!

So this warning just came through....looks like we might not get to Cranbrook tomorrow!

A Pacific frontal system will move across the BC interior tonight through Friday. Snow is expected to intensify overnight and persist through Friday. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 20 cm except 40 cm near Fernie can be expected before the snow tapers off to a few flurries early Saturday morning. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

. Recommended actions Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.

Looks like we have some decisions to make in the morning.....@@#$@!$$%!!!!!!!

Really no decision at all 40cm of snow in Fernie area, that’s a non starter .... You just have to go with the flow. Maybe time for some touring around Lethbridge in Jerry. Saturdays looks like the day to sneak through the Crowsnest Pass and on to Cranbrook. Safe travels.

This trip is so full of adventure. I especially like the references to the Griswold. Better to stay safe and sound.

It is better to be safe and take your time. No rush really. Cook something nice, have some wine and put on a few candles. Nice and romantic.
