It was so worth the long drive!

They say a picture tells a thousand words...well here are a few pictures where no words are necessary!

Grandpa hasn’t lost his touch! We are calling him the “baby whisperer”...

Nana Ruth loves her new grand baby!

We would like to introduce you to our first grand baby, our grandson Owen Benjamin! He’s such an alert little man and so very cute too, but we might be a bit biased!

We left Pincher Creek this morning around 9:15am after filling up with diesel and propane in Alberta where taxes are lower and so are the fuel prices. Richard spent the better part of an hour looking at the roads on the Drive B.C. road app. He determined that the roads were good and off we went!

Our drive today through the mountains was very beautiful and pretty uneventful other than a few truckers honking at us for being a bit slow. Richard managed the mountains like he had been driving an RV forever!

We are staying outside of Cranbrook, B.C. at Fort Steele Resort & RV Park. We are very thankful to have full hook ups with water, sewer and electric. After so many nights in Walmart parking lots its nice to be able to stay somewhere for 3 nights with all of the conveniences of home! Tomorrow we will both be taking LONG, HOT SHOWERS!!
